Ortho-Bionomy® Practitioner Program at Healing Arts Center
Osteopathic Principles – Proprioceptive Self-Correction

Ortho-Bionomy® Training at the Healing Arts Center
The Healing Arts Center together with Ann Hoeffel, Advanced Instructor of Ortho-Bionomy, LMT, CHt, BS-Edu are proud to offer Ortho-Bionomy Workshops in St. Louis as part of the center’s Continuing Education Department.  We are so excited to share this amazing work with you all. While these classes can be taken individually, they can also be taken as a progression toward becoming a Certified Ortho-Bionomy Practitioner

Students may take a workshop, a study group, schedule a session, or enroll in a Series. Each workshop
stands on its own. The Series offer students a practical, cohesive training program, that integrates workshop learning with individualized learning at substantial savings. Students who want to specialize in Ortho-Bionomy will be able to pursue their goal at a gentle, steady pace.

Massage therapists and bodyworkers learn Ortho-Bionomy to enhance their skills, help their clients and fulfill continuing education requirements. Many complete the Practitioner Training Programs because the results they achieve with clients are unparalleled. As if that weren't enough, the work is performed with ease rather than effort, taking less toll on you, the therapist. In fact, practitioners feel better while doing the work --- and, it's fun! Many Ortho-Bionomy Practitioners look forward to enjoying their work well into their 70’s.

The system is comprehensive, wholistic and techniques are based on principles of Osteopathy, innate healing responses and the inner wisdom that lies within our bodies and ourselves. Osteopathy tells us structure and function are interrelated and interdependent and the body functions as a unit; what affects one part, affects the whole. This amazing physical life form, a body that created itself from two individual cells, is also self-regulating (how do you digest food?) and self-correcting. The body knows itself. Ortho-Bionomy works with that knowing and actually relieves pain without causing pain, restoring natural alignment and function with more ease, immediacy and long-lasting benefit than you might have thought possible. Ortho-Bionomy reminds us how to be more at ease in our bodies and in our lives.

Continuing Education
Each Ortho-Bionomy workshop qualified for Continuing Education requirements for Illinois Massage Therapy License and most state licenses, NCTMB, AMTA , ABMP and SOBI. The term "CEUs" has been changed by NCTMB to "Contact Hours" (CHrs or CE Hrs). Students must attend and participate in the workshop to receive Continuing Education credit.

Ortho-Bionomy Associate Training

Students who have successfully completed the Associate level Training may use the term, Ortho-Bionomy® on business cards and other promotional material. Associate Membership with the Society of Ortho-Bionomy also qualifies you for referrals and inclusion in their international website
