This one-day course is designed for anyone interested in learning more about the healing qualities of massage therapy. Students will learn basic awareness methods, a variety of massage techniques, and self-care practices that will benefit any person giving or receiving massage. This course is taught through a hands-on approach, giving participants as much experiential training as possible. Students will be lead through a variety of exercises and demonstrations that will prepare them to exchange a full-body, Swedish style massage in class. If you want to help your friends and family deal with pain and stress, this class is a great place to begin!

Intro to Massage II

9:00a.m. until 5:00p.m. Cost: $100

This class will begin with review of basic massage techniques from the Introduction to Massage Therapy I class. Time will be spent discussing common pain patterns, and students will learn new techniques to bring more specific relief their loved ones. Class discussions, demonstrations, and hands-on practice will make up the format of the day.

Prerequisite: Introduction to Massage Therapy.

Self Care for Massage Therapists
5 Continuing Education Credits

Dates and Times To Be Announced, Cost: $80

This workshop will cover physical, energetic and spiritual ways in which a massage therapist can care for themselves, thus extending their massage therapy career. Body mechanics, stretching, self-care techniques, energetic cleansing, and spiritual support will be discussed.
