Greenstone Massage with Lolita Knight

The Greenstone is a Serpentine S Curved stone perfectly shaped to do deep massage on the SCM and scalenes as well as other parts of the body. This green stone from Guatemala has a more pointed end for deeper work and a broader base for smoothing out the muscles and removing toxins.

Students are taught how to not “grab or hold” the stone so that no gripping is employed. Instead physics and full hand pressure is utilized so that hands, arms and shoulders have minimal impact.

The Serpentine Stone can reach “hard to get” places such as the curved surface of the neck without twisting your own hands. The stone can be heated in hot water although most prefer the cool texture of the stone as it effortlessly glides over the muscles. Oil or massage cream is required when massaging with the stone.

Chinese Facial Massage

As taught by Chinese Doctor Lily Fu, 16 pressure points (including 2 on the hands) to help tone, remove tension, reduce facial lines and enhance appearance will be demonstrated and practiced. Students often notice a difference in their appearance at the end of the class session, although differences are usually noticed 2 days after treatment. Facial massage can benefit facial tics, Bells Palsy, eye droop, sinus problems and scars. In addition, rejuvenation strokes will be included as well as external TMJ techniques.
